Will always be my favourite song of theirs. Perfect instrumentation and vocals.
15. Stars - Calendar Girl - LINK
16. Stars - The Night Starts Here - LINK
The audio quality of the music videos uploaded to YT are horrendeous.
17. Seoul - Stay With Us (dream pop) - LINK
Found out about them when they were opening for Stars. This track is my collection for songs I think are perfect and special. "I Become a Shade" is one of my favourite albums. Too bad they're most likely not making any more music :(
18. Foxes in Fiction - Ontario Gothic - LINK
sara in the Youtube comments - "this song makes me miss things that haven't even happened to me"

20. Last Dinosaurs - Italo Disco - LINK
21. Scarypoolparty - 10 Years - LINK
I was late up in bed watching Youtube as I usually was. Youtube recommended me to watch Alejandro Aranda's American Idol 2019 audition. I had not watched a single episode of AA since Clay Aiken was on (a very long time ago). At that very moment I started tearing up and couldn't believe what I just heard. It was truly the best vocal audition to any talent show I've ever witnessed. I chose this specific performance of 10 Years because the echo of the underground parking garage helps bring out the rawness of his voice. Here is the link to the audition where he played another original song called "Out Loud" if you are interested.
22. Kings of Convenience - Misread - LINK
One of my favourite songs of all time.
23. Kings of Convenience - Cayman Islands - LINK
Also one of my favourites of all time. Sometimes simple music is better.
24. Angus & Julia Stone - Heart Beats Slow - LINK (Live)
Their live performances capture more of the rawness in their vocals than the studio recordings.
25. Angus & Julia Stone - A Heartbreak - LINK
Simple tune but captures the nostalgic vibe.
26. Angus & Julia Stone - Chateau - LINK
Like most of their other music, I love how simple but beautiful it is. This was the song that got me into them.
27. Arcade Fire - Rebellion (Lies) - LINK
One of my favourite songs of all time. Timeless hit.
28. Arcade Fire - The Suburbs - LINK
Another timeless hit.
29. Arcade Fire - No Cars Go - LINK
Third timeless hit? Honestly, the band has so many good songs, it's better just to give them all a try.
30. Tegan and Sara - Hell - LINK
It's been awhile since they attempted to break into the mainstream with alright success but, this song is still the catchiest one they've made.
31. Tegan and Sara - The Con - LINK
Decent single.
32. Tegan and Sara - The Ocean - LINK
My favourite song of theirs.
33. Tegan and Sara - I Know I'm Not the Only One - LINK
Their most recent song that I would recommend. As with most of their music, it's very simple sounding but I like the chorus enough.
34. City and Colour - Casey's Song - LINK
Top acoustic track. "Sometimes" and "Bring Me Your Love" are both fantastic albums so just listen to both in their entirety.
35. City and Colour - Waiting... - LINK
Love singing along to this one.
36. Silversun Pickups - The Royal We (alternative, indie rock) - LINK
Everyone likes "Lazy Eye" but I prefer this song more because the latter half is more varied instrumentally and raw.
37. Silversun Pickups - Circadian Rhythm (Last Dance) - LINK
38. KennyHoopla - plastic door// - LINK
Everyone is screaming, "Bloc Party influence!", on this song which is definitely true. I tried to get into Bloc Party in the past and did not like a single song I tried so it's funny how much I really like this track.
39. KennyHoopla - Sore Loser// - LINK
40. The Gaslight Anthem - Angry Johnny and the Radio - LINK
The only song I really love of theirs which is a shame since I like how their vocalist sings. Love the build up towards the climax in the end.
41. Geowulf - Won't Look Back - LINK
The vibe in this one is unreal. Love the synths and the vocal effects.
42. Surf Curse - Disco - LINK
Surf Curse is a surf rock, garage pop, lo-fi, indie rock/pop and post-punk band. This track has indie rock sounding vocals. Really fun energy, makes me wanna go up and dance all night long. Also, respect to Nick Rattigan for being the lead singer while drumming because that shit is difficult.
43. Surf Curse - Sugar - LINK
Uplifting melodic sound and full of energy.
44. Frou Frou - A New Kind of Love (Demo) - LINK
45. Kate Havenick - Falling - LINK
Beautiful and uplifting chorus.
46. The Beaches - Blame Brett- LINK
Infectious melody, fun energy, catchy as hell, easily could be considered a classic
47. The Beaches - Everything is Boring - LINK
Surf rock, upbeat, catchy, what more do you want?
48. Midlake - Roscoe - LINK
Has a Fleetwood Mac vibe. 10/10 was immediately impressed from first listen. Has the constant guitar strumming in the background. It's a style of music I gravitate towards.
49. Slowdive - kisses - LINK
Admittedly not the biggest fan of their previous work which was more shoegazey but damn, the amount of creativity put into this one is crazy.
50. San Cisco - Consequence - LINK
51. Ghostly Kisses - The City Holds My Heart - LINK
Ethereal vocals, deeply touches the heart and soul...
52. Sierra Spirit - bleed you - LINK
